Your Instructor:
K. Yoland is a producer and creative director with a background in game development, film, theatre, and interdisciplinary media with a PhD in spatial theory, conflict simulations and desertscapes. Working internationally, Yoland has led site-specific productions, directing actors, dancers, and film crews for live and digital audiences. In game development, Yoland collaborates with teams in animation, coding, level design, and narrative writing for projects, including the award-winning Disco Elysium. Requirements:

Basic knowledge or experience in media, games, or creative industries, and interest in production and creative project management. No prior experience in producing is required. Access to Zoom is required.

This course introduces the fundamentals of producing for games and media, covering project management, scheduling, team leadership, and production tools, with lectures and feedback throughout.

Through practical exercises, participants will learn how to coordinate teams, track progress, and deliver creative projects on time and within budget. Ideal for aspiring game producers (from indie to AAA), game developers, and creatives looking to enhance their organisational skills.
